Hello all,

Dan Haas and I spent the day yesterday enjoying the early fall
migration and we were both successful in locating several birds that
we hoped to see.
The highlights from the trip include:

Little Bennet:
blue-winged warbler 2
chestnut sided warbler 1
magnolia warbler 1
canada warbler 1
black and white warbler 1
common yellowthroat 3
prairie warbler 2
pine warbler 2
baltimore oriole 2
red-eyed vireo 3
eastern peewee 7
blue grey gnatcatcher several
and the highlight heading back to the car perched atop a dead tree and
a life bird for Dan Haas
OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER 1

Lily Ponds
bearing the midday heat were:
great blue heron 3
green heron 7
kingfisher 3
northern roughwing swallow 9
sora 2
red shouldered hawk 1

Hugh's Hollow
Very good birds here in the evening including:
chestnut sided warbler 1
black and white warbler 1
northern waterthrush 2
common yellowthroat 3
WHITE IBIS juvenile 1
solitary sandpiper 1
spotted sandpiper 3
killdeer 8
least sandpiper 7
least flycatcher
norhthern roughwing swallows
tree swallow
barn swallow
red shouldered hawk 2
great blue herons, green herons and great egrets were very numerous
