While in Cambridge, one night we heard a bird of some kind fly
overhead, crossing the Choptank River. It had a two-note call, one
note sounding like a chirp, the second like a croak. So we heard
"chirp, croak" a brief pause, then "chirp, croak" etc.
Does anyone know what it might have been?
