While birding Tydings Landing Marina in Havre de Grace yesterday evening, I scoped a distant loon that was sitting on the water over the flats.  Even though the bird was distant I could tell it was not a Common Loon by the smaller bill (which was being held at an angle) and over all smaller body.  I would have no problem calling this a Red-throated Loon (which I am 95% sure this was) other than I can't rule out Pacific mostly because of distance and having never seen a Pacific Loon no experience.  So if any of the Harford birders are down at Tydings take a look for a loon over the flats.  I was standing near the Martha Lewis Skipjack.  If the bowsprit of the skipjack is pointing to 12 then the loon was between 1 and 2.

At Swan Harbor there were many Marsh Wrens, a single calling King and Virginia Rail, and a Least Bittern.
