Frank Caruso, a friend visiting from Cape Cod, and I spent a profitable morning (8:10-9:30 a.m.) at the National Arboretum in DC, mostly in and around the Azalea Gardens. Frank continued birding as I reluctantly left for a busy workday...

_ Northern Parula (at least three, one seen)
	_ Palm
	_ Prarie (heard)
	_ Black-and-White (FOY, heard)
	_ Black-Throated Green (FOY, heard)
	_ Ovenbird (heard)
	Other spring migrants included:
	_ Blue Grey Gnatcatcher
	_ Wood Thrush
	_ Red-Eyed Vireo

	Plus:
	_ Eastern Towhee, calling
	_ Hermit Thrush
	_ Pileated Woodpecker
	_ White-Throated Sparrows, still.

	Good Birding!
