Weather: Mostly cloudy, 55-82 degrees; fair visibility with some haze; winds light
and variable, 0-8 mph, then becoming southeasterly in the late afternoon
13-14 mph gusting to 23 mph
Raptor Observations: A steady flight of Sharp-shinned Hawks until the late afternoon when the
numbers dwindled
Non-raptor Observations: Common Loon, 46 and close to 400 Blue Jays

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on
Wednesdays.
