While my wife and son played on the playground, I strolled around Elm's
Beach. Directly across from the play area (pond side), two YELLOW-THROATED
WARBLERS and several PINE WARBLERS were singing in the treetops and afforded
great looks.

Fiona and I also spotted a PALM WARBLER (western) sitting in the middle of
Demko Road. I stopped the car and allowed it to fly off. We were staying
with Fiona's mother, Anne Bishop, and wandering the edge of the woods along
the property, I heard a LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH by the creek.

Also, on our way to Courtney's restaurant, I saw two CHIMNEY SWIFTS fly
across a field on Wynne Road Monday afternoon.

My eleven-month-old son, Kermit, started pishing this weekend. I think we're
going to have to start putting him in bed with Stoke's CD's playing from now
on...

Good birding,
