I had an adult Bald Eagle over the Rockville Sportsplex about 3 weeks ago.  It was fairly low but I presumed it was a migrant (though heading SW) but perhaps not?

While waiting for the MARC at Roc'ville @1550-ish this
afternoon an adult BE cruised out of tree top level to
the north, caught a thermal and cruised in the
vicinity for the better part of 5-8 minutes. GREAT
sight! After gaining altitude it glided off to the
NW. Are they still migrating at this time of year? 
Our area already has occupied nests, but perhaps this
was a northern bird...
