Tonight, around 7:30, I was running errands in Rockville.  As I pulled into
the Whole Foods parking lot there were several thousand crows flying south
in a long, extended flock.  The birds were quite quiet, with only a few
American Crows calling.  The birds seemed to stretch almost the entire
length of the Congressional shopping center.  A remarkable sight.
