On one of my first visits to Blackwater, maybe 12 years ago, almost all
the Snow Geese were segregated by color, white vs. blue. There were
several hundred of each color morph, but within each flock, there were
less than 5% of the other color. The flocks were separated by maybe 1/4
mile.
Haven't seen anything like that since, at Blackwater or elsewhere.
