Hi Everyone,

Barbara Gearhart and I tried for the White-Winged Crossbill this morning. We were successful, but the looks were much like yesterdays, a brief two second glimpse of the bird. Time was around 1030 AM, we were across the footbridge and up the hill a bit. There were about 20-25 House Finches feeding on Poplar seeds. It appeared the crossbill came from the neighboring houses with a group of six to eight House Finches. After the second look, most of the birds flew and we could not locate any large group of House Finches and left around 1230.
