Joe - thanks for the links, but these are about grants to a Danish company
to improve blade design so the turbines can operate under turbulent
conditions. Frank's e-mail stated that there is research showing that
changing the blade design so that it generates sound within the frequency
range that birds can hear will allow birds to detect and avoid the turbines.
That's what I am investigating, not wind energy generally.
