Today I woke up to the song of the Winter Wren. I opened up my blinds to see
the bird and saw that it was right in front of my window looking in. What a
nice alarm clock that was. Later today I saw the Winter Wren in my back yard
as well as a very noisy Pileated Woodpecker. The Winter Wren and a Pileated
Woodpecker where new yard birds.

Two days ago I went to the Pocomoke Sand Pits and saw my first of year
Common Golden Eye, Canvasback,and a Bonaparte Gull. I also saw the many Coots,
Gadwalls, Widgeons, Ruddys, Ring necks, Grebes, and Canada Geese.
