On this crisp Sunday morning some 30 birders witnessed a splendid
warbler fall-out on the RCP Ridge and Equitation Field. In addition
the Philadelphia Vireo made an appearance, much to the pleasure of
Carter Roberts who added this to the last three remaining
unidentified birds on his life list of North American birds---the
bird was spotted by Dave Bolton. The Olive-sided Flycatcher was a no-
show. The following warblers were seen:
Bay-breasted
Northern Parula
Black-throated Green
Black-throated Blue
Chestnut-sided
Blackburnian
Black-and-white
Magnolia
Nashville
Blackpoll
American Redstart
Common Yellowthroat
Others:
Sharp-shinned Hawk (Yard)
Scarlet Tanager
On his tour of the Dog Run, Mike Bowen looked up to see 10 Broad-
winged Hawks and a Harrier. The Maintenance Yard was quiet.
Have fun birding!
