When Nancy and I spotted an Immature Broadwing perched in a tree in our yard
this morning, we decided to go over to Washington Monument to see if
anything was happening.

In addition to the resident Red-tails, including three immatures, we did see
four migrating Broad-winged Hawks. Raptor migration should be picking up
over the next month.
