In addition to the birds at Hughes Hollow described by Rob Hilton there was an
adult Little Blue Heron standing mid east impoundment for at least 10 minutes.
It then left in an eastward direction. There were so many Green Herons that
at one point I saw an actual flock –I mean flock- fly from the east
impoundment south side across to the west impoundment, one dropping to a
defoliated roadside tree.
