Barbara Gearhart and I saw gorgeous views of 2 male Summer Tanagers and Pine
Warblers thanks to Pete Webb and Keith Eric Costley for their help in where
to go! We did the red trail and the yellow trail which are across the road
from the historical marker. Here's the rest of the birds we saw or heard:
(The majority of birds that Keith posted from his recent trip we saw. We
did not see the Cuckoos, Hummingbird, Red-Bellied Woodpecker, Flicker,
Phoebe, Kingbird, Worm eating Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, or Grackle).
We did see or hear a few additional birds that I didn't see on Keith's list:
2 Coopers Hawks (male & female), Pileated Woodpecker, Starling, Catbird,
Downy, and White Breasted Nuthatch.
A wonderful morning and a good variety of birds in 1 1/2 hours.
