Milford Mill this morning was a lot slower than my last few visits with only
6 warbler species. However, in good compensation, I finally saw my
first-of-the-year Rose-breasted Grosbeaks -- good looks at a male and female
together. I also had my FOY Acadian Flycatcher and Pewee. Indigo Buntings
were surprisingly abundant, which is unusual there. Two Scarlet Tanagers
were singing along the high trail and a Pileated Woodpecker called.
