Hi All on the Sunday April 1 , the Talbot County Bird Club went to
a new for us place in lower Dorchester County The Henson Scout
Reservation { A Club Scout Camp ] near Eldorado . The trip was co led by
the capable hands of Gordon Jennings and Kathy Cooper . 8 birders
showing up with rain threatening early but held off but a bit cool and
cloudy . Four of us stopped in at the Hurlock sewage ponds on the way
homes and add a few more species to our meger list. total species 36
birds seen and heard . Many thanks to the trip leaders and drivers

American Kestrel 1 Hurlock
Wild Turkey 1 few across the road in front of the lead car while
leaving but in Talbot County

Rock Dove in Eldorado

Eastern Bluebird 2 male , female near nest box

Mockingbird 1 parking lot/ meeting place Acme Easton
Brown Thrasher 2 in a still berry laden Catbrier
Pine warbler 1 very plain pale colored one
Cardinal
Chipping Sparrows many camp ground was full of them , territorial
squabbles and all
Savannah Sparrow at least 3 one was near the top of a tree
Red Winged Blackbirds
