1500+ migrant blackbirds; Ducks on pond: 6 American Wigeons, 6 Northern
Shovelers, 6 Green-winged Teals, 3 Gadwalls, 14 Ring-necked Ducks, 2
Hooded Mergansers, 6 Mallards; also 4 American Coots, 1 Wilson's Snipe,
and 2 flyover Wood Ducks. 56 Redheads among the 5000 or so ducks on the
River.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest.
