Yesterday morning (1/21/07) two Horned Larks and 2 to
3 dozen Juncos were present at the gravel parking area
of the Seventh Day Adventist church on MD 17 south of
Middletown, north of Burkittsville. The larks are
pretty reliable at this site. I have always "visited"
on Sunday morning and am assuming/hoping that this
isn't a problem as the activity day there is Saturday,
but i don't have permission to access the site.
Feeder birds around the yard in yesterday's snow
included:
Song Sp
Goldfinch
Chickadee
Downey W
C Wren
Cardinal
White crowned and throated Sp
House Sp
Jays
