Hi Fellow Birders,
The Youth MOS is sponsoring a Youth Bird of Prey Day
on Monday, January 15, 2007 for students in grades 5 - 12.
This free workshop event will be held at the Chesapeake Bay
Environmental Center in Grasonville from 10:00am to 2:30 pm.
Students will attend four interactive hour long sessions ending with
a hike to look for raptors in the field.
Sessions include:
1. Live Raptor Presentation
2. Raptor Research
3. Raptor Id with study skins, mounted taxidermy specimens, photos &
calls
4. Field Identification of Raptors
If you know of a student who might be interested in attending, ask
them to sign up for the Youth Bird of Prey Day by contacting the

Currently students from Carroll, Charles and Queen Anne Counties will
be in attendance. With your help a few more may be added to the list.
