Had a nice morning on the C&O Canal from Pennyfield Lock walking upstream. Two males and one female Northern Pintail in the second impoundment along with 2 male Gadwall, Mallards and Canada Geese. Otherwise the usual suspects. Thought we heard some frogs calling. Details below from eBird report.
