Took a short walk in Little Bennet Park this afternoon near Clarksburg 
and for the second time in as many weeks had a raven flying around.   
This is only the third or fourth time I've had them here.  It is only a 
couple miles - as the raven flies - from Sugarloaf ,which has had a pair 
for decades, so it is not too surpising - but still a treat!!.  

It reminded me that I had a pair of ravens on a regular basis near 
Travilah (which is just north of Potomac, MD) the summer before last, 
that may have bred in the Travilah quarry or possibly along the river in 
the gorge.   Is anyone seeing ravens in the potomac area??
