The INCA DOVE in Laurel made return appearances this
morning, typically showing up whenever the Mourning Doves
started to gather. A number of expert birders got
satisfying views, and photos and a movie were taken.
If the bird is still here tomorrow I will try to set up
times for other interested birders to sneak a peek in the
following days. It's a quiet neighbourhood, and we just
moved in, so I will not be making a general announcement of
the exact location. The likely format will be small groups
at set times in the morning on a first-come, first-served
basis. Stay tuned, and let's hope the dove continues for a
while!
Cheers,
D
