We a productive morning birding at Hughes Hollow today. Major highlight was an amazing flight of Rusty Blackbirds passing through in flocks over the course of about ten minutes, which we conservatively counted as 120! Good sparrow variety including Song, White-Throated, White-Crowned (all first winter birds), Field, Swamp, and Lincoln's. Also a nice adult Red-headed Woodpecker. Specific list follows.
