Both the Uppie and several Buffies were still on the polo fields along
Hughes Road this morning.
They tend to hang way, way out, and disappear for many minutes behind slight
rises in the terrain, so a scope and patience are necessities.
There are also lots of sturnis vulgaris in the field as well as Rock
Pigeons, Mourning Doves and Kildeer. One of the former looks for all the world like
an Ivory Gull or a Ptarmigan in winter plumage (:-)
