I was just vacationing at Herrington Manor (Garrett County) and saw about a dozen COMMON NIGHTHAWKS appear over the lake in the early evening.  I have a small pamphlet which lists birds of Garrett County and it stated that these birds aren't necessarily common or not seen every year.  I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about them?
