A Veery was singing at Little Bennett this morning, in the woods across 
Little Bennett Creek from Kingsley trail -- the first one I've heard this 
year. I also heard a total of three Yellow-billed cuckoos -- one along 
Kingsley trail, and two responding to each other along Beaver Valley trail.

Among other breeding birds, Blue-gray gnatcatchers and Northern parulas 
were feeding nestlings this morning, and I was able to watch a pair of 
Scarlet Tanagers mating.
