This morning there were 4 heron species (1 of each) in Patterson Park: Great-Blue, Green, 1st summer Yellow-crowned Night Heron and a Great Egret.
At 2pm when I went back for another look all had gone but there was a male Prothonotary Warbler flitting about on the sland in the pond where they had been - first PROW I have seen in the park.
