Only had time for a Ft. Bayard run this morning, but the string of good birds there continued today with a park-first BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO. It sat still long enough for me to get a nice look at its head and bill before slinking off. Other good birds today:
Chestnut-sided Warbler (singing)
Red-eyed Vireo (singing) but no Blue-headed
Scarlet Tanager (2 males)
Rose-breasted Grosbeak (only heard the call note)
Baltimore Oriole (3)
I had 3 Yellow-rumps but the rest of the warblers were gone. Chipping Sparrows may have been absent today, though I did have 2 White-throats. Finally, I also had a briefly-seen vireo that might have been a Warbling, but I can't rule out that it was another drab Red-eyed.
