This morning I saw 3 RUSTY BLACKBIRDs at the swamp on the paint branch
trail, foraging in the "grass"/muck. Two males, one female. Just above the
two bridges by the UMD parking lot, had the good fortune of seeing a WHITE
EYED-VIREO, a first of the year for me.
Also, yesterday I had a single Broad-winged Hawk circling over the upper
USDA field and climbing until out of sight. Earlier in the week had a
single Ruby-Crowned Kinglet and tons of Chipping Sparrows (nice photos of
one in the yard even).
