We had a Brown Thrasher feeding on the ground beneath the bird feeder
a few minutes ago. That's a first for our feeder. And this morning I 
could swear
I heard a Tennessee Warbler in the woods next to the house, but that seems
awfully early. Do any other birds sound like they're saying "pickup, pickup"
before they do a trill? It was gone (or just silent) by the time I 
got binoculars
in hand, of course.

The thrasher is back, along with Mourning Doves and Grackles, as I type this.
