Following the spring new yard bird thread, I too was treated to a new 
yard bird this a.m. Checking out a grayish, small sparrow I hoped 
would be a chipping, I was surprised to find it was a field sparrow 
that had reached our small suburban yard. It sang at least a dozen 
times and nipped a few cherry buds before disappearing. I think it's 
number 88.
