Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. Anne Arundel County has recently taken over the operation of the Park from the City of Baltimore. It is currently
closed to the general public for renovations and will reopen April 1. Only regular hawk counters allowed entry until then.
