It was a beautiful morning at the North Tract, the river trail had no activity at all so I walked down South Road from Wildlife Loop to the powerline cut. Highlights included a singing PHOEBE, a singing PINE WARBLER and at RB NUTHATCH (my first at North Tract). As the morning got warmer, there was a BLACK VULTURE and a RS HAWK circling in a thermal with about 4 Turkey Vultures. I also got good looks at a Hermit Thrush and both Ruby and Golden Crowned Kinglets. The only waterfowl were a few Canada Geese and a couple of flying Wood Ducks.
