Lake Needwood, Montgomery County, 4 Mar 06, 1430

My wife and I took our dog for a walk around the lake during the cool, crisp
and breezy afternoon.  A surprise find was a Gray Catbird skulking in some
bushes.  Another surprise was a first of winter Brown Creeper.  I have
missed this bird this season despite seeing it with some regularity during
past winters.  The lake held mainly Canada Goose, 10 or so Hooded Merganser
and a handful of Mallard.
