This evening I found 2 Field Sparrows at Loch Raven reservoir - a nice 
treat among all the white-throats.

I was wondering if birds gain any nutrition from eating Japanese 
Honeysuckle.  Today I watched a Cardinal eating the leaves (healthy 
leaves without any galls), and a couple weeks ago I saw a White-throated 
Sparrow doing the same thing.  Has anyone else observed this?
