Sorry for the late posting. Yesterday on my way back to school, I stopped by Piney Run Res as the sun was rising. It took about 10 minutes for the fog to clear. The Eared Grebe was easily spotted. Soon after I first found it, the Horned Grebe popped up into the same scope field-of-view. Other birds present include:

Ring-necked Duck
Mallard
Common Goldeneye - 1 female
Hooded Merganser
Canvasback
American Coot
Belted Kingfisher
Red-breasted Nuthatch
Carolina Chickadee
