MD Osprey:

Well, of course EVERY local birder should keep the following in his/her 
goodie bag ...

1. A copy of the MD and DC Review Lists (two page each, available at the 
URL in my signature block) so you can check to see if a species you found 
is reviewable or not.

2. A copy of the MD/DC Records Committee's document guidelines/checklist 
(two pages, same URL) and a notepad and pen ... for taking field notes and 
sketches.


I also carry a good European field (like Mullarney, et al.) and ... (if you 
have room) a Mexican or Caribbean field guide ... for those extralimtal 
rarities !!!

Oh, yeah ... and my phone number, in case you find a new MD state species 
... <grin>
