Hi all,
I took a trip to the NCR trail and birded today. I
did the section from Paper Mill Rd. north and south.
On the south end of the trail, I saw an empid in the
woods. I'm wondering which one it could possibly be
at this late date?
Looking at Sibley, I see that Alder and Willow are
here in the "summer", but not very common, Least and
Yellow-bellied occur during migration, and Acadian is
her e in the summer, but more common.
But it's not summer nor is it migration. So what
gives? I know it was an empid, as it was flycatching.
Who could it have been?
I will post a complete list of what I saw later.
Richard
