We were invaded by Robins yesterday, that is, the entire neighbrhood -- calling, singing, flying, foraging -- today there were even more and they descended upon (and completely stripped in a few minutes) a dogwood which *had* been respendent in red leaves and red berries. Well, the leaves are left...the robins have also gone, to find more berries I suppose.

(And no, despite looking, there were no rarities mixed in -- ahhh, for a nice MD Varied Thrush!)
