Hi all yesterday 10 - 17  after work while attemping to photograph 
butterflies in a grass and wildflower meadow  edge .  I  spooked a male Ring 
Necked Pheasant  from the grasses . It flew up   called  and went to the far 
side of the field.  Most likely a  bird released from a game farm near by . 
Other birds   were several  Song Sparrows.  Black  2  and 3 Turkey Vultres . 
This was at the Wye Research Center near  Queentown.
