After some very sparse outings over the past couple of weeks, finally 
got into a decent patch of birds this afternoon in the woods north of 
Lake Needwood in Montgomery cty.

Highlights include:
Yellow-billed Cuckoo, 2
Woodpeckers (Hairy, Downy, Red-bellied, N. Flicker and Pileated)
E. Phoebe, 1
E. Wood Pewee, 1
Empid sp.
Thrush sp (not a Wood)
Blue-headed Vireo - 1
Red-eyed Vireo - 2
Philadelphia Vireo - 1 (lifer)
Warblers including:
Blue-winged, 2
Northern Parula, 4
Chestnut-sided, 1
Magnolia, 3
Black-throated Green, 2
Bay-breasted - 1 (lifer)
American Redstart, 1
Ovenbird, 2
Common Yellowthroat, 2

Scarlet Tanager

Mudflats at north end of lake held a single Solitary SP, a dozen or so 
Killdeer and 2 Semipalmated SPs.

Yesterday, I added Brown Thrasher to my yard list.
