Cromwell Valley Park HawkWatch - Saturday, Sept. 3rd 2005

Our second day at CVPHW brought the first few Broad-winged hawks. Congratulations to Gene 
Schwartz for spotting the first of many (hopefully thousands !!!) of Broadwings to come.
Many thanks to Kevin Graff,  Pete Webb, Gene and Joanne for their sharp eyes!  
Beginning on Thursday, Sept. 15th and continuing for the following eleven days to Sunday, Sept. 
25th, we plan to be at the HawkWatch each day to record the passage of the Broad-winged hawk's 
migration.  I will be posting more information as the time approaches.

Sharp-shinned Hawk - 8
Broad-winged Hawk - 6
Coopers Hawk - 1  Am. Kestral - 1
Red-shouldered Hawk - 1
Bald Eagle - 2 -  both sub-adults at 12:45pm
