I sometimes drive by this sediment pond that was built last year for drainage for a neighborhood just south of Elkton. Today I stopped in and did a brief scan to find a Canvasback swimming about. This was a first for me here and a first in June. It is a Adult Male, in perfect plumage.
Other birds include; Little blue Heron-1, Great blue Heron-1, Cattle Egret-1, Gloss Ibis 3, Least Sandpiper-1, Killdeer-6, Mallard-2, Rough-winged Swallow-2.
