I have at least a couple of White-Crowned Sparrows calling and appearing to be new residents (and, hopefully, breeders) in my yard. They are fairly common in the winter but are usually gone with the Juncos. This year, the Juncos are long gone but the White-crowns are still here, singing, protecting territory, etc.
