Hi all --
Barry and I hit Layhill Park, Mont. Co.) in mid-morning (he is still
jet-lagged after returning from England yesterday evening). Not too many
migrants seen, but we enjoyed a couple of singing Orchard Orioles, several
vocal Yellowthroats, a singing Parula, as well as Gnatcatchers, Field and
Chipping Sparrows, Eastern Kingbird, Tree Sparrows using nestboxes and a few
raptors (Cooper's, Redtail) which *may* nest nearby.
Off to Rock Creek tomorrow if the weather is OK!
