Weather:
48-84 degrees; mostly sunny with a few eye-saving clouds; winds starting
out light and finishing up moderately strong and southerly.
Observations:
Good flight all day spread out all over the sky, aided at the end by the
southerly winds. Another nice Sharpie flight. Two Harriers, a male and a
female, traveling together, the female obviously larger. Several Ospreys
stopped to fish and dine. An immature Bald Eagle perched for awhile in a
tree.
255 Horned Grebes in various plumages sitting in the river; also 25+
Red-throated Loons. A pair of Blue-winged Teals on the pond.
