Today after work I decided to stop into Pickering for a minute or two.  I 
was able to find the Northern Shrike almost immediately in the field on the 
right side of the road.  It was in a small tree out in the middle of the 
field and very distant.  Charlie Vaughn was there and allowed me to see the 
shrike through his scope, thanks.  Also in the impoundments were 2 pintails 
and several green-winged teals, but I didn't get a chance to look for a 
common.
