Karen, we (Southern Maryland) are aware of the potential of Sudden Oak
Death.  Our Master Gardener Program here is going to present information
about it in our spring meeting.  We are of course concerned about the spread
of the disease..The following link contains some information which you might
find useful.  It is not a happy prospect, and is certainly on our scope.
